Pakistan Christian Congress condemn killing of PAT workers in Lahore
Karachi: June 17, 2014. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC has strongly condemned murder of women and men of Pakistan Awami Tehreek PAT by police firing in Lahore.
2 women and six men were shot dead by police firing and more than 100 workers were seriously injured when police reached Central of Idara Minhaj Ul Quran in Model Town Lahore and discriminately opened fire during removing of security barriers.
Dr. Tahir Ul Qadri who is Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek PAT and spiritual head of Idara Minhaj Ul Quran which runs educational and religious institutions in Pakistan have announced to lodge campaign against undemocratic government of Pakistan on June 23, 2014.
The police firing on activists of PAT and murder of 8 women and men spread wave of unrest through out Pakistan and opposition parties in Parliament also walked out from session of National Assembly of Pakistan as a protest.
Dr. Nazir Bhatti said that Pakistani Christians condole deaths of innocent activists of Pakistan Awami Tehreek PAT and expresses grief with families of deceased and injured.
